Beyond Organic: The Biodynamic Difference
At Net Positive, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond traditional organic practices. Our cotton is grown using biodynamic agriculture, a holistic and sustainable approach where animals, crops, and soil work together as one living ecosystem—completely free from external fertilizers. Each of our cotton farms is certified to meet the rigorous Demeter international biodynamic standard, ensuring that every piece of our women’s underwear is made with the utmost respect for people and the planet.
ORGANIC
Organic farming allows for the use of approved, imported fertilizers to enrich the soil.
Organic practices permit certain organic pesticides
to manage pests.
Certification in organic farming can be crop-focused, meaning individual plots or crops can be certified.
BIODYNAMIC
Biodynamic farming creates a self-sustaining system. Soil fertility is naturally maintained through nutrient-rich compost from rotating crops and integrating livestock.
No pesticides are necessary. Biodynamic farms foster natural habitats and promote predator-prey relationships, making the soil naturally resistant to insects and disease.
Biodynamic certification is farm-wide, meaning the entire farm must meet these rigorous standards to be certified.
Reducing Our Footprint, Restoring the Planet
At Net Positive, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and supporting climate action through a carefully managed carbon credits system. Carbon credits allow us to offset our emissions by investing in environmental projects that capture or reduce CO₂ emissions.
Our supply chain emissions are measured, and we counterbalance them by planting trees and restoring land to support regenerative agriculture. Through these initiatives, we have achieved 100% carbon neutrality, contributing to a more sustainable future.
Additionally, any unused carbon credits are sold to help other companies offset their emissions. This generates additional income for our partner farmers, encouraging sustainable practices and helping to make eco-friendly products more accessible and affordable.

Calculating Our Impact
We calculate the carbon footprint of each farm, considering ecosystem services like tree planting, which helps to sequester carbon. These efforts are valued in the form of carbon credits.

Managed by the Biodynamic Association
The nonprofit Egyptian Biodynamic Association (EBDA) manages the sale of carbon credits, enabling companies to offset their carbon footprint and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability.

Supporting Farmers Directly
EBDA distributes 80% of carbon credit revenue back to farmers, ensuring that these funds support those actively working to reduce their environmental impact.
Mindful Practices for a Healthier Future
We believe the earth's resources are valuable and deserve to be protected and used mindfully. That's why we prioritize responsible practices for today and future generations. Nearly a third of the energy we rely on comes from renewable sources like solar and wind, and we recycle and repurpose wastewater from our facilities to support sustainable irrigation.
